ENDORSEMENT - Taos News
U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, 3RD DISTRICT: Carol Miller, who is running as an Independent, has experience at the federal level — far more than her opponents: Democrat Ben Ray Luján and Republican Dan East. She is a longtime Taos County resident and understands the needs of its people, especially when it comes to rural health care. She has twice been a presidential appointee, including serving on the White House Health Care Task Force led by Hillary Clinton. She founded the National Center for Frontier Communities to bring better services to those living in isolated areas. We favor Miller for U.S. representative.
